Shark Cartilage Powder is a nutritional supplement produced from the cartilage of sharks that have already been harvested for food. The powder is usually taken orally, and is available as gelatine capsules, pressed into caplets, or as a stand-alone powder mixed with milk, water or fruit juice.
 
Shark cartilage contains calcium, phosphorus, and a family of complex carbohydrates and proteins including glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and mucopolysaccharides.
